₹2.04 Crore Sanctioned for Beautification of Crematorium and Two Ponds in Lalbahadur Nagar

Approval granted by Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao; SUDA issues orders for development works

In a significant step towards strengthening urban infrastructure and improving public amenities, the State Urban Development Agency (SUDA) under the Urban Administration and Development Department has sanctioned ₹2 crore 4 lakh 42 thousand for beautification works in Lalbahadur Nagar Nagar Panchayat of Rajnandgaon district.

These development works were approved following the consent of Deputy Chief Minister and Urban Administration Minister Arun Sao, after which SUDA issued formal sanction orders. The funds have been approved under state-sponsored schemes of the Urban Administration Department.

According to the issued orders:

  • ₹50 lakh 85 thousand has been sanctioned for the beautification of the ITI Pond located in Ward No. 15.
  • ₹1 crore 6 lakh 90 thousand has been sanctioned for the beautification of the Chhappan Bandha Pond, also situated in Ward No. 15.
  • ₹46 lakh 67 thousand has been approved for the beautification and development of the Muktidham (crematorium) in Ward No. 1.

Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao has directed officials to ensure high-quality execution of all works and to complete the projects within the stipulated timeline.
