District-Level Free AYUSH Health Fair and Traditional Cuisine Exhibition to Be Held on October 12

Chhattisgarh Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh to grace the event as Chief Guest; citizens to receive free AYUSH consultations and wellness guidance

To mark the 25th anniversary of the formation of Chhattisgarh, a District-Level Free AYUSH Health Fair and Traditional Cuisine Exhibition will be organized under the guidance of the Directorate of AYUSH, Raipur, and the District AYUSH Officer, Rajnandgaon. The event will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Mangal Bhavan, Government Primary School Ground, Ward No. 3, Motipur, Rajnandgaon.

This one-day fair will provide citizens with an opportunity to gain knowledge about health, nutrition, and traditional AYUSH systems. Its objective is to offer free medical consultations, health check-ups, and awareness sessions on Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Homeopathy, Siddha, and Naturopathy. Additionally, a Traditional Cuisine Exhibition will promote Indian dietary culture, highlighting the nutritional and medicinal value of local foods.

The event will be graced by Dr. Raman Singh, Speaker of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly and MLA from Rajnandgaon, as the Chief Guest. MP Santosh Pandey will preside over the ceremony. Distinguished guests will include Mayor Madhusudan Yadav, Municipal Corporation Chairman Paras Verma, Health Department In-Charge Member Shanky Bagga, Public Works Department In-Charge Member Sawan Verma, Ward No. 3 Councillor Kamlesh Bandhe, and Ward No. 8 Councillor Manohar Yadav.

The fair will feature:

  • Free AYUSH consultations including Ayurveda, Yoga, Homeopathy, and Naturopathy
  • Pulse diagnosis and general health check-ups
  • Herbal guidance and display of medicinal plants
  • Exhibition of traditional and nutritious food dishes
  • Yoga and pranayama demonstrations
  • Awareness lectures on health and wellness

The program is being organized under the aegis of the Directorate of AYUSH, Government of Chhattisgarh. The event is coordinated by Dr. Shilpa Mishra, District AYUSH Officer, Rajnandgaon, and Dr. Harsha Dubey, Ayurveda Medical Officer, Padumtara.

The district administration and AYUSH Department have appealed to all citizens to participate in large numbers and avail themselves of free health consultations while promoting the importance of AYUSH systems for family and community well-being.
