New Daily Service Starting October 26 to Enhance Connectivity and Boost Tourism and Business Travel

Aviation major Indigo Airlines announced the introduction of an extra daily flight between Raipur’s Swami Vivekananda Airport and Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport on October 5, 2025, catering to rising passenger demand in Chhattisgarh. The service, set to commence from October 26, will operate on a Boeing 737 aircraft, offering 180 seats and reducing wait times for commuters.
This expansion is expected to add over 50,000 annual seats on the route, facilitating easier access for business travelers to the capital and tourists exploring Chhattisgarh’s cultural heritage sites. Airport officials noted a 20% surge in traffic post the state’s industrial push, with the new flight timed for morning and evening convenience. Fares start at Rs 3,500 one-way, with promotional offers for early bookings.
