In line with the All India Congress Committee’s national-level directive under “Srijan Sangathan 2025,” a key organizational meeting was held on Monday in Rajnandgaon to discuss the restructuring of mandal and sector-level committees. The meeting was chaired by former minister and district in-charge Anila Bhediya, who emphasized that strengthening the organization from the grassroots level remains the party’s core objective ahead of the upcoming elections.
Held at Satnam Bhavan, the joint session was organized by the City and Rural District Congress Committees and saw the presence of numerous party veterans, local leaders, and newly appointed coordinators. The agenda revolved around enhancing booth-level engagement, mobilizing committed ground workers, and bringing more youth into the Congress ideological fold.

Speaking at the gathering, Anila Bhediya reiterated, “This year is dedicated to Srijan Sangathan. We are focusing on building a stronger, more active organization by reconstituting our mandal and sector committees. Senior leadership and grassroots dedication are essential to this restructuring, and it’s time we expose the BJP’s gap between words and actions by mobilizing at every booth.”
The meeting was also addressed by City Congress President Kulbir Singh Chhabra, who welcomed attendees and referred to the Udaipur Sankalp Shivir, where Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge outlined the national roadmap for organizational revival. Rural District Congress President Bhagwat Sahu assured that appointments for rural mandal and sector in-charges would soon follow.
