BJP’s Media and Legal Cell in Full Action for Civic Polls

Rajnandgaon (BTI) – Ahead of the municipal elections in Rajnandgaon, the BJP’s Media Cell and Legal Cell have become fully active. The Media Cell is organizing the campaign for mayoral candidate Madhusudan Yadav and 51 ward councilors. Key officials, including Yogesh Dutt Mishra, Ashok Lohia, and Amar Lalwani, have commenced their work.

Meanwhile, the Legal Cell has taken charge of scrutinizing and approving the nomination papers of all candidates. District coordinator Vikas Tiwari and his team including Sudhansu Joshi,Shailendra Nagwanshi and Vaibhav Shukla are ensuring the smooth execution of the election process. A special legal assistance chamber has also been set up at the party office, where candidates can seek support.

The Rajnandgaon district unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will observe August 14 as Partition Horrors Remembrance Day, with rallies and public meetings planned across all four mandals. On August 13, the Rural East Mandal will organise a motorcycle rally from Tedesra to Surgi, flagged off by Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh. The following evening, North and South Mandal BJP units will lead a torch rally to raise awareness about the horrors of Partition and expose what the party calls Congress’s responsibility for the tragedy. District BJP President Komal Singh said that the Partition “tore India into two parts, severed Bharat Mata’s arms, and displaced millions of Hindus from Pakistan under horrific circumstances.” The events will also feature discussions on the significance of the national flag, addressed by farmer leader Ashok Choudhary, who credited Naveen Jindal’s efforts for securing the public’s right to hoist the tricolour.
