Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai delivered a strong message of accountability and grassroots governance during a high-level review meeting held in the Rajnandgaon District Panchayat auditorium as part of the ‘Su-Shasan Tihar’ (Good Governance Festival). He urged all senior officers, including Commissioners and Collectors, to conduct regular field visits and overnight stays in rural areas to directly engage with citizens and ensure timely redressal of public grievances.

The Chief Minister asserted that the vision of a “Developed Chhattisgarh” can only be realized when administrators are actively connected to the ground realities. “Success of schemes should not be measured merely by paperwork but by the visible satisfaction and sense of security on beneficiaries’ faces,” he said.

Accompanied by Legislative Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, Deputy CM and District In-charge Minister Vijay Sharma, and MP Santosh Pandey, CM Sai instructed that all revenue courts must adhere strictly to their judicial calendar and avoid adjournments except in exceptional circumstances. This, he emphasized, would not only ensure timely justice for the public but also enhance transparency in governance.

Reviewing development efforts across Rajnandgaon, Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki, and Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai districts, the CM directed officials to guarantee that all government welfare schemes reach eligible beneficiaries on time. He also highlighted the need for extensive awareness campaigns for health programs and urged prompt resolution of pending cases under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and other housing schemes.

Sai announced that the state will soon host Tiranga Yatras in every panchayat, promoting national unity and civic engagement. He encouraged active participation from elected representatives, officials, and citizens.

To strengthen rural digital access, CM Sai shared that 1,460 Atal Seva Kendras have been launched across panchayats, offering banking and digital services locally. He directed officials to ensure these centers operate efficiently and serve as hubs of convenience for villagers.

On the agricultural front, the Chief Minister instructed timely availability of seeds and fertilizers ahead of the Kharif season and ordered camps for swift disposal of pending revenue cases.
