In a significant community outreach effort under Su-Shasan Tihar 2025, District In-Charge Secretary Shri Jay Prakash Maurya visited Kaudikasa village and addressed several grassroots issues raised by residents.

One of the most heartwarming moments of the visit occurred when Shri Khorebahra Netam, a local resident, voiced his long-standing concern about his incomplete housing under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY). Netam shared that he lives in a kutcha house, and though his name was once listed in a previous survey, he never received the housing benefit.

Moved by his plea, Secretary Maurya attentively heard his concerns and gave a heartfelt assurance that his dream of a permanent home would be fulfilled. He confirmed that all eligible beneficiaries will receive the rightful benefits under PMAY, bringing a visible smile of relief and hope to Netam’s face.

In another development during the visit, villagers collectively raised the issue of insufficient drinking water facilities. They highlighted the need for an additional water tank, citing the growing population in the village. After a quick on-ground review, Secretary Maurya promised that a survey would be conducted immediately, and the demand for an extra water tank would be met based on the findings.

This proactive approach under Su-Shasan Tihar showcases the government’s commitment to transparency, responsiveness, and inclusive development. By addressing individual and community-level issues directly, the administration aims to strengthen the bond of trust between citizens and governance.
