Yashwant Dewan Receives Full Support in Provincial Pensioners’ Presidential Election

The Provincial Pensioners’ Association is set to hold its presidential election on Sunday, April 13, 2025. The voting will take place at Pyarelal Higher Secondary School, Rajnandgaon, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Arrangements have been made with two voting rooms designated for urban pensioners and one for rural pensioners. The counting of votes will be conducted in Raipur on April 15, 2025.

The election campaign is in full swing, with extensive participation from city pensioners. Senior pensioner leaders, including Municipal Pensioners’ President Shri Anil Sharma, Shri Patram Sahu, Shri Nisar Ahmed, Shri Sudhir Shende, Shri Ramesh Bhojwani, Shri Prem Lal Verma, Shri S.R. Kehri, Shri Rakesh Srivastava, and Shri Manharan Sahu, are actively engaged in the election process. Yashwant Dewan has received widespread support from pensioners across the city.

Additionally, strong backing has been observed from pensioners in various tehsils and districts, including Rajnandgaon, Khairagarh, Dongargarh, Dongargaon, Chhuria, Mohla-Manpur, and Kawardha. The organization has urged all pensioners to participate in the voting process personally and ensure they bring their Aadhaar cards as mandatory identification for voting.
