Reviews revenue case disposal and office arrangements; directs officials to ensure timely resolution of pending cases

Rajnandgaon Collector Jitendra Yadav carried out a surprise inspection of the Tehsil Office in Rajnandgaon on Tuesday, reviewing the functioning of revenue administration, record management and services being provided to citizens.
During the inspection, the Collector assessed office arrangements and examined the progress of various revenue cases, including mutation, land partition and demarcation matters. He instructed officials to ensure timely and quality disposal of pending cases.

Collector Yadav directed the Tehsildar to regularly obtain reports from Patwaris regarding ongoing cases and to ensure that necessary corrections in land records are made immediately after court orders are issued. He emphasized that revenue cases should be resolved within the stipulated time frame with proper verification.
Officials informed the Collector that 274 revenue cases have been disposed of in the Rajnandgaon Tehsil Office within the last month, reflecting ongoing efforts to improve administrative efficiency.
During the visit, the Collector also interacted directly with citizens and advocates present at the office and listened to their grievances. He instructed concerned officials to take immediate action to resolve the issues raised by applicants.
One applicant, Sushil Chandrakar from Rengadabari village in Dondi Lohara tehsil, sought information regarding a mutation application based on a donation deed for land in Chikhli village. The Collector directed officials to expedite the process and resolve the case promptly.
Similarly, Garima, a resident of Lakholi, approached the Collector regarding a land partition dispute, following which he instructed officials to complete the required procedures and ensure an early resolution.

Another applicant, Bhushan Singh Chandel from Rewadih, raised concerns about corrections in online land records. The Collector directed the concerned department to update the records within two days.
The inspection was also attended by SDM Gautam Patil, Deputy Collector Vishwas Kumar, Tehsildar Pyarelal Nag, along with other officials of the revenue department.
