Event Aims to Promote Yoga, Sports Culture, and Youth Participation

With the objective of providing a platform to yoga and sports talents, the 5th Yogasana Sports Championship will be organized today, April 14, 2026, in Sanskardhani Rajnandgaon. The competition will take place at Neeraj Bajpai International School, Bori.
Preparations Reviewed in Association Meeting
Earlier, a meeting of the Yogasana Sports Association was conducted to review preparations for the championship. During the meeting, detailed discussions were held regarding organizational arrangements.
The organizing committee finalized various logistical responsibilities, assigning specific duties to members. All committee members have been actively working to ensure the successful execution of the event, and preparations have now reached their final stage.
Participation Expected from Across the Region
A large number of participants from Rajnandgaon district as well as nearby regions are expected to take part in the championship. The event will provide players with an important opportunity to showcase their talent and skills in yogasana sports.
Encouraging Youth Towards Healthy Activities
According to office bearers of the Yogasana Sports Association, it has become increasingly important to connect youth with yoga and sports activities, keeping them away from excessive mobile usage and other harmful habits.
Such competitions not only promote physical and mental well-being but also contribute significantly to building a positive social environment.
Organizing Team Actively Engaged
Members of the organizing committee—including Hemant Tiwari, Laxman Lohia, Saurabh Khadelwal, Kishor Maheshwari, Bhaskar Gupta, and others—have been continuously engaged in managing arrangements to ensure the smooth conduct of the championship.
