A youth dialogue programme organised at State High School in Rajnandgaon witnessed meaningful discussions on strengthening democracy, respecting constitutional values and the role of young people amid the prevailing political circumstances.
The programme was attended by Mukesh Baghel as the chief guest and speaker, along with Ravi Sinha, Chairman of the Janbhagidari Committee at Government Shivnath Science College and BJP councillor. School Principal Madhav Singh and Hemant Sahu were also present.

Democracy Goes Beyond Elections and Voting
Addressing the gathering, Ravi Sinha said democracy is not limited to elections and voting but is founded on the Constitution, the rule of law, freedom of expression and respect for constitutional institutions.
He said young people must understand the difference between democracy and mob rule in the prevailing political environment. Disagreement on any issue is a democratic right, but violence, disorder and pressure-based politics are contrary to democratic values.
“Respect for constitutional boundaries and an aware youth are the identity of a strong democracy,” Sinha said.
