Yogeshdutt Mishra, a resident of Brahmanpara in Rajnandgaon, has been appointed as the Chairman of the Chhattisgarh Labour Welfare Board by the state government. He officially assumed his new role on Friday at the Board’s office in Raipur, where departmental officials and staff gave him a warm welcome.
Mishra’s appointment has sparked enthusiasm among his supporters and well-wishers. Known for his longstanding engagement in social work, he shares a close connection with the labor community.
After assuming office, Mishra expressed his commitment to ensuring that government welfare schemes reach the grassroots. He stated that the implementation of policies for the benefit of laborers will be a primary focus, and he pledged to address workers’ issues promptly and effectively.
Soon after taking charge, Mishra met with Honorable Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Dr. Raman Singh, and expressed his gratitude. The following day, he held a courtesy meeting with Chhattisgarh’s Chief Minister, Shri Vishnudev Sai, requesting support to make the Labour Welfare Board more efficient and dynamic in the coming days.
