As part of Su-Shasan Tihar 2025, a large-scale civic outreach and welfare distribution camp was held at Kamla College in Rajnandgaon. Residents from five municipal wards benefited from direct access to government welfare schemes such as Ayushman Cards, Ration Cards, Social Pensions, and Labor Cards. The initiative aimed to resolve grievances on the spot and ensure inclusive delivery of welfare services at the grassroots level.

Yogeshdutt Mishra, a dedicated social worker from Rajnandgaon, has been appointed as the Chairman of the Chhattisgarh Labour Welfare Board. Upon taking charge, he emphasized that worker welfare and ground-level implementation of government schemes will be his top priorities.

In a major push to improve rural access to drinking water, Chhattisgarh Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh has successfully secured ₹99.36 lakh for the drilling of new borewells in 44 villages of Rajnandgaon block. The move, welcomed by villagers, aims to ease water scarcity ahead of the intense summer months.
