Rajnandgaon Congress delegation meets state president in Raipur; discussions held on district strategy and strengthening party structure

Rajnandgaon District Congress President Vipin Yadav met Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee (CPCC) President Deepak Baij at his residence in Raipur and extended Holi greetings on behalf of the district unit.
The delegation included District In-charge General Secretary Rahul Tiwari, General Secretary Chumman Sahu, senior Congress leader Akil Memon and Block Congress General Secretary Bhavesh Sinha. During the meeting, leaders conveyed their heartfelt wishes on the occasion of Holi and discussed ongoing political activities in Rajnandgaon district.
Detailed deliberations were held on organisational initiatives, grassroots mobilisation and future political strategies. Vipin Yadav sought guidance from the state president regarding the expansion of the District Congress Committee and measures to further strengthen the party structure at the district and block levels.

Sources present at the meeting said that emphasis was laid on ensuring unity within the organisation, intensifying engagement on rural and urban issues, and enhancing public outreach. The leaders discussed ways to increase public support and streamline party activities in view of upcoming political engagements.
In a significant gesture, Deepak Baij recalled the contributions of former विधायक Prakash Yadav, father of Vipin Yadav, and appreciated his service to the region. He also interacted with him over the phone during the meeting and acknowledged his longstanding commitment to public welfare and party work.
The interaction is being seen as part of the Congress party’s broader efforts to consolidate its organisational base in the state. Party leaders stated that the guidance received from the state leadership would help the Rajnandgaon district unit function more effectively and cohesively in the coming months.
