A high-level review meeting was held on Wednesday to assess the progress of the ambitious Sugghar Chhattisgarh Campaign, launched by the Chhattisgarh Government with the objective of ensuring that the benefits of welfare schemes reach the last person and every eligible family in rural areas.

During the meeting, the Chief Secretary reviewed in detail the implementation of various schemes recorded on the Sugghar Chhattisgarh Dashboard and the ongoing efforts to provide benefits to all eligible beneficiaries.

State-Level Dashboard for Transparency and Monitoring

Under the Sugghar Chhattisgarh Rural Scheme, a dedicated state-level dashboard has been developed to ensure that all eligible beneficiaries receive the benefits of various government schemes.

The dashboard contains lists of surveyed beneficiaries under beneficiary-oriented schemes of both the State and Central Governments.

During the meeting, the Chief Secretary sought detailed information from officials regarding the saturation status of several major beneficiary-oriented schemes.

The review covered the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Yojana, Soil Health Cards, ration cards and free ration distribution, job cards, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin, Mahtari Vandan Yojana, skill development programmes and Pradhan Mantri Jan-Dhan Yojana, among other schemes.

Officials also reviewed the progress of the saturation campaign in accordance with the proceedings of the meeting organised by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.
