Satish Byohare, District Mission Coordinator, Samagra Shiksha, Rajnandgaon, has been unanimously re-elected as the District Convenor of the Chhattisgarh Employees and Officers Federation, Rajnandgaon district unit. This is his second consecutive term in the post.
The election was held at the Bharat Scouts and Guides District Office building near State School in Rajnandgaon. To ensure that the election process was conducted smoothly, three observers appointed by the state-level leadership—Rajesh Chatterjee, Manish Mishra and Vijay Lahre—were present.
The observers followed the prescribed election procedure and invited nominations for the post of District Convenor. In the presence of 33 district presidents, Byohare’s name received unanimous support, and he was elected unopposed. The observers subsequently handed him the appointment certificate.
Unanimous Support for Byohare’s Leadership
Federation representatives said Byohare was given another opportunity to lead the district unit in recognition of his work during his previous tenure, leadership abilities and organisational activities. Following the consent of all 33 district presidents, his name was formally approved.
The election concluded in a cordial atmosphere. Office-bearers congratulated Byohare and expressed confidence that the federation would work collectively to address employees’ and officers’ problems, pursue pending demands and protect their rights.

Focus on DA and Other Pending Demands
Addressing the gathering, observer Rajesh Chatterjee called for unity among employees and officers to press the government for their pending demands, including a 3 per cent increase in Dearness Allowance (DA).
He said that if the government did not seriously consider their demands, the federation could be compelled to launch an agitation in the coming days. He added that the responsibility for any such situation would rest entirely with the government.
Observers Manish Mishra and Vijay Lahre also addressed the gathering.
