Collector Jitendra Yadav said that the Seva Setu initiative launched by the government was an important step towards making the administrative system more accountable, accessible and responsive to citizens.
He was speaking at a one-day workshop organised by the District e-Governance Society for Aadhaar, Seva Setu and Common Service Centre (CSC) operators at the Padmashri Govindram Nirmalkar Auditorium in Rajnandgaon.
The workshop reviewed the functioning of Aadhaar, Seva Setu and CSC operators from Rajnandgaon, Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki and Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai districts.
The Collector said the government was working to make the lives of citizens easier and called upon all stakeholders to contribute to this objective with commitment and responsibility.

He also urged CSC operators to motivate more people to take advantage of the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana. He said the scheme would help citizens get relief from electricity bills and added that CSC operators performing outstanding work would be honoured.
Yadav warned that action would be taken against operators found spreading false or misleading information or showing negligence in their work.
He said all Aadhaar, Seva Setu and CSC operators should work responsibly towards the development of society and the country.
The Collector said the Seva Setu initiative had been launched to make the system more accountable and ensure that administrative services reached citizens in a simple, fast and digital manner.
More than 570 services, including income, caste and residence certificates, marriage certificates, ration cards and revenue-related services, have now been made available on a single online platform.
Collector Calls for Uniformity and Greater Public Confidence
The Collector directed officials to ensure the availability of computer operators for the smooth functioning of CSC centres.
He instructed operators to prepare and clearly communicate lists of documents required for income, caste, residence and other services. This, he said, would bring uniformity to the process and increase public confidence.

He urged all operators to perform their duties efficiently and ensure that citizens’ applications were not rejected unnecessarily.
The Collector also directed all Sub-Divisional Magistrates to review pending and rejected cases under the Aadhaar Seva Portal.
Drawing an analogy, Yadav said that just as a bridge strengthens connectivity, all stakeholders must work in a coordinated and committed manner to serve the people and accelerate the functioning of Seva Setu.
He directed SDMs and Tehsildars to regularly review Seva Setu-related work and take steps to improve its functioning.
The Collector also interacted with Aadhaar, Seva Setu and CSC operators and urged them to discharge their responsibilities with diligence. He said that in cases requiring resolution, Patwaris could contact applicants by phone and also send messages, which could produce better results.
Over 570 Services Now Available Through Expanded Platform
State Project Manager Aadhaar Prabhat Singh called upon all stakeholders to work with dedication to ensure that government services reached the last person.
He stressed the importance of assessing, verifying and uploading documents correctly.
The workshop was also addressed by UIDAI Hyderabad representative Khurshid Alam, Aadhaar State Manager Prabhat Singh, CSC State Head Jaynarayan Patel, CSC Project Manager Neeraj Hardev, Pawan Aind of the Gazette Office, Additional Collector C.L. Markandey and Additional Collector Prem Prakash Sharma.
District e-District Manager Saurabh Mishra said that the platform initially provided services in three areas—revenue, urban administration and panchayat services.
Its scope has now been expanded to include various departments, with more than 570 services being made available to citizens. This, he said, would enable residents of the state to access services easily and within the prescribed time limit.
Through a presentation, he provided details of applications received and work being undertaken across the three districts.
