Collector Jitendra Yadav Directs Priority Repairs and Patchwork to Ensure Safer, Smoother Travel

Road repair work has been accelerated across Rajnandgaon district following directions from Collector Jitendra Yadav, with the administration focusing on improving road conditions and ensuring smooth and safe transportation for residents.
As part of the ongoing drive, necessary repair work was carried out on damaged stretches of the Sukuldaihan-Mohara road.
The Collector has directed concerned departmental officials to continuously inspect major roads as well as routes in rural areas and undertake repair and patchwork on damaged stretches on priority.
Damaged Stretches Repaired
Under the ongoing road improvement measures, potholes and damaged portions of roads are being repaired to improve their condition and make travel more convenient for commuters.
The Sukuldaihan-Mohara route is an important road for villagers and residents of the surrounding area. The completion of repair work on damaged portions is expected to make travel easier for villagers, farmers and other vehicle operators using the route.
The administration has emphasised that road repairs should not be limited to immediate patchwork but should also focus on identifying damaged stretches in a timely manner.
Collector Stresses Quality of Repair Work
Collector Jitendra Yadav has instructed officials to pay special attention to the quality of road repair work.
He directed the concerned departments to identify damaged roads through regular inspections and complete patchwork and repair works within a stipulated timeframe.
Officials have also been instructed to ensure that road maintenance work is carried out according to the required standards so that repaired stretches provide better and safer connectivity to residents.
Focus on Better Rural Connectivity
The district administration is continuing efforts to improve road infrastructure and provide better connectivity in rural areas.
With several roads serving as important links for farmers, villagers and daily commuters, timely repair of potholes and damaged sections remains a priority.
The administration said that road repair works will continue to be undertaken wherever necessary, with the objective of providing citizens with better roads and smoother transportation facilities.
