Superintendent of Police Ankita Sharma (IPS) handed over the smartphones during a programme held at the Rajnandgaon Police Office and instructed officers to make optimum use of modern technology for conducting high-quality, evidence-based investigations.
Technology to Strengthen Criminal Investigations

- Submit reports through digital platforms.
- Use police applications for investigation and case management.
- Facilitate faster communication and information sharing.
According to her, these capabilities will make investigations more transparent, time-bound, and result-oriented.
Smartphones for Official Use Only
