Raipur (BTI) – In a significant move towards fostering collaboration and enhancing research opportunities, National Institute of Technology, Raipur (NIT Raipur) and Washington State University, USA (WSU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on January 22, 2025, to strengthen ties between the two institutions. The agreement was signed as a gesture of goodwill to explore future partnership agreements in collaborative academic activities.
The MoU aims to foster collaboration in student exchange programs for undergraduate, master’s, and Ph.D. students, faculty exchange, sharing of research materials, and joint research projects. Both institutions will also coordinate efforts to commercialize technologies developed at their universities or partner institutions in mutually beneficial ways. The MoU will remain in effect for three years from the date of signing.
This partnership reflects a shared commitment to academic excellence, research collaboration, and knowledge exchange, benefiting students, faculty, and researchers from both institutions.
