Navratna Mandal in Rajnandgaon to Celebrate Ganesh Utsav with ‘Ganga Avtaran and Ganga Puja’ Theme

Grand decorations, special lighting from Kolkata, and attractive visarjan tableau to highlight the festivities

The renowned Navratna Mandal Ganesh Utsav Committee on Ramadheen Marg, Rajnandgaon, is all set to celebrate Ganesh Utsav with grandeur, continuing the city’s glorious cultural tradition. This year, the venue will feature a specially designed theme of “Ganga Avtaran and Ganga Puja,” offering devotees a spiritual glimpse of Goddess Ganga.

Committee members have been working with full dedication on the elaborate decorations. The venue’s entrance gate has been artistically crafted to mesmerize visitors, while special lighting brought from Kolkata is expected to be a major attraction. The upcoming visarjan procession tableau is also being prepared with great creativity to enthrall spectators.

In a recent committee meeting, office bearers and coordinators were selected unanimously to oversee different aspects of the celebration, including decorations, publicity, procession arrangements, finance, and cultural activities.

Patrons include Vijay Kumar Agrawal, Ramavatar Ruganta, Motilal Soni, Harinarayan Agrawal, Santosh Agrawal, Ashok Khandelwal, Brijkishore Surjan, and Ratanlal Golchha. The organizing team features Sunil Agrawal, Sunil Mundra, Nandkishore Soni, Rajesh Bagdi, Paras Agrawal, Kishan Agrawal, Rajesh Khandelwal, Vijay Soni, among others. President Ajay Khandelwal, Vice Presidents Rajesh Agrawal, Vijay Sharma, Santosh Purohit, and Secretary Lokesh Agrawal will coordinate the festivities.

Various sub-committees have also been formed, including in-charge members for decoration, processions, donations, publicity, cultural activities, and immersion tableau. With strong community participation, the Navratna Mandal is aiming to make this year’s Ganesh Utsav one of the most memorable celebrations in Rajnandgaon.
