Mayor Madhusudan Yadav Reviews Camp Activities as 326 Applications Are Received from Seven Wards

Under the Sushasan Tihar 2026, a ward-level public grievance redressal camp was organized today at Lakholi School Ground for wards 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35 and 36.
Despite the intense heat conditions during Navtapa, a massive crowd of residents gathered at the camp. A total of 326 applications were received, including 290 demand-related applications and 36 complaint applications.
Women were seen in large numbers at the camp for services related to ration cards, labour card registration, driving licences and KYC formalities under the Mahtari Vandan scheme.
Mayor Madhusudan Yadav Inaugurates Camp
Mayor Madhusudan Yadav inaugurated the camp by lighting the ceremonial lamp and later inspected various departmental stalls set up at the venue.
During the programme, beneficiaries under the PM SVANidhi scheme received loan approval certificates:

- Lakholi resident Mrs. Tomin Sahu received a loan approval of ₹25,000 through Bank of Maharashtra to start a tiffin centre.
- Mrs. Hema Humne received a ₹15,000 loan sanctioned through Bank of Baroda to open a grocery shop.
In addition, Rajiv Nagar Lakholi resident Kanhaiya Lal was honoured for paying his revenue tax during the camp.
Health Check-Ups and Welfare Activities Conducted
The Women and Child Development Department organized traditional “Godbharai” ceremonies during the event, while the Health and AYUSH Department conducted health check-ups and distributed free medicines to residents.
Mayor Highlights Growing Public Trust in Sushasan Tihar
Addressing the gathering, Mayor Madhusudan Yadav stated that citizens’ trust in the Sushasan Tihar initiative is steadily increasing, which was clearly visible in the enthusiastic participation at the Lakholi camp despite the scorching summer heat.
He assured residents that applications related to ration cards, birth and death certificates, pension assistance, electricity and water services would be resolved promptly, while construction and other pending matters would be addressed in a phased manner.
The Mayor also praised Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai for initiating a governance model focused on directly reaching citizens and resolving their grievances at the grassroots level.

He expressed gratitude to all officials and employees who attended the camp despite it being a government holiday.
Active Participation by Local Councillors
The camp witnessed active participation from councillors and public representatives of the concerned wards, including Rehabilitation and Planning Department in-charge and councillor Dileshwar Sahu, Reena Sinha, Girja Nirmalkar, Santosh Sahu, Mohini Bharti, Chandrika Sahu, senior councillor Shiv Verma, former councillor Mahesh Sahu, councillor representatives Santosh Nirmalkar, Vijay Sinha, Yuvraj Bharti and Hinchharam Sahu.
They assisted residents in submitting applications and availing government services.
Next Camp Scheduled at Digvijay College
Under the public grievance redressal initiative, the next camp will be organized on June 3, 2026 (Wednesday) at Digvijay College for residents of Mahavir Ward No. 37 and Digvijay Ward No. 38.
Officials and employees from all departments remained present throughout the camp.
