Rajnandgaon (BTI)- The Rajnandgaon metropolitan unit of the Jheria Yadav Samaj successfully organized a grand state-level Youth Introduction Conference on Sunday, marked by vibrant cultural programs and community-driven initiatives. The event was held at the Gandhi Cultural Bhavan, Municipal School Ground, and commenced at 11 AM with much enthusiasm and participation from community members across the region.

The conference was graced by the honorable Member of Parliament from Rajnandgaon Lok Sabha constituency, Shri Santosh Pandey, who was welcomed with great reverence. Members of the Jheria Yadav Samaj honored MP Pandey by adorning him with a traditional Khummri, floral garlands, and a bouquet, followed by a ceremonial presentation of the symbolic Yadav Danda (traditional stick), reflecting the community’s rich cultural heritage and traditions.

The program, organized after a considerable period, drew significant attention not only due to the matrimonial introductions but also for its array of traditional Chhattisgarhi folk performances, including the renowned Raut Nacha, which is a vibrant and spirited dance form intrinsic to the Yadav community. Alongside the cultural festivities, the event also hosted a free health check-up camp and a driving license registration camp, in collaboration with the local Health Department and the Regional Transport Office (RTO), underscoring the organizers’ commitment to holistic community welfare.

Addressing the gathering, MP Santosh Pandey praised the initiative and highlighted the importance of such conferences in today’s social landscape. “In the present day, young men and women prefer choosing their life partners independently. Such platforms not only encourage them to meet and understand each other but also strengthen community bonds,” remarked Mr. Pandey. He further emphasized the significance of unity within the community, urging members to stay organized and work collectively towards the social upliftment of the Yadav Samaj.

During his interaction, several community leaders took the opportunity to present their concerns and shared insights into ongoing social activities with the MP. In response, MP Pandey assured them of his unwavering support and extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all social members for organizing such a successful event.

The Rajnandgaon chapter of the Jheria Yadav Samaj expressed gratitude for the overwhelming participation and reiterated their commitment to promoting cultural, social, and developmental programs for the betterment of the community.

This youth introduction conference not only provided a platform for potential matrimonial alliances but also fostered a spirit of togetherness, cultural pride, and social responsibility within the Yadav community of Chhattisgarh.
