Instructions Issued to Improve Cleanliness, Dismantle Dilapidated Structures and Expedite PM Awas Yojana Works

Surprise Inspection of Health and Administrative Facilities
Rajnandgaon, May 15, 2026: Divisional Commissioner Shri Satyanarayan Rathore and Collector Shri Jitendra Yadav today conducted a surprise inspection of the Community Health Centre, under-construction Community Health Centre and Janpad Panchayat Office in Chhuriya development block to assess effective implementation of government schemes.

Review of Facilities at Community Health Centre
Divisional Commissioner Shri Rathore inspected the women’s ward, men’s ward, Navjeevan room and maternity ward of Community Health Centre Chhuriya. He expressed displeasure after finding the cleanliness arrangements in the health centre premises unsatisfactory. He directed the concerned officials to immediately improve sanitation arrangements.
While reviewing healthcare services, he issued necessary instructions for strengthening medical facilities. He also directed officials to dismantle the dilapidated residential building located within the premises so that the area could be expanded and better facilities developed.
Inspection of Under-Construction Health Centre

The Divisional Commissioner also inspected the under-construction Community Health Centre at Chhuriya. He instructed officials to expedite construction of the boundary wall, develop a proper drainage system and install a transformer to strengthen electricity arrangements in the campus.
He directed officials to complete the remaining construction works at the earliest. He stated that once the Community Health Centre shifts to the new building, healthcare facilities would significantly improve and a larger number of citizens would benefit from enhanced medical services.
Directions on Quality and Timely Completion of Development Works
During the surprise inspection of Janpad Panchayat Office Chhuriya, Shri Rathore reviewed ongoing construction works in the Janpad Panchayat area. He directed officials to ensure that all construction activities are completed within the stipulated time frame while maintaining quality standards.

Review of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural)
The Divisional Commissioner inspected the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Gramin) branch and reviewed the progress of the scheme. Officials informed that approximately 10,300 houses have been completed so far in the Janpad Panchayat area.
He instructed officials to expedite completion of the remaining houses. He also reviewed the online monitoring of geo-tagging of houses constructed under the scheme through the portal and directed officials to complete geo-tagging on time and keep online records updated.
He emphasized regular field visits by officials to ensure continuous monitoring of construction works so that quality standards are maintained and projects are completed within the stipulated timeline.

Emphasis on Use of Technology in Administration
Shri Rathore also reviewed the work being carried out through the e-office system at the Janpad Panchayat. He stressed greater use of technology in office functioning to enhance transparency and efficiency, ensuring faster and improved public service delivery.
Additional Collector Shri CL Markandey, Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. NR Navratan, SDM Shri Shrikant Korram, CEO Janpad Panchayat Shri Horilal Sahu and other officials were present on the occasion.
