Divisional Commissioner Satyanarayan Rathore and Collector Jitendra Yadav carried out a surprise inspection of key government facilities in Chhuriya block to review healthcare services, infrastructure development and progress under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.

On Chhattisgarh Foundation Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually conduct the Grih Pravesh ceremony for more than 4,500 rural beneficiary families in Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki district under PMAY-Gramin. Beneficiaries will move into their newly-constructed homes in a cultural and festive atmosphere, marking a new chapter of dignity and empowerment.

In the remote tribal village of Bortalav, Rajnandgaon district, the life of daily-wage worker Shweta Bai changed with the gift of a permanent home under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Gramin). The newly constructed house, complete with a toilet, has brought stability, dignity, and relief from years of hardship during monsoons.

Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Gramin), a housewarming ceremony was organized for two beneficiaries in Nawagaon (Pinkapar), Chhuriya block, with the special presence of Zila Panchayat President Mrs. Kiran Ravindra Vaishnav. She stated that the scheme is turning the dream of a permanent home into reality for countless poor families. A total of 138 houses have been sanctioned in the village. The initiative reflects the government’s commitment to providing dignified and secure housing for every eligible family.
