Festive Atmosphere at BJP Office as Leaders and Workers Watch Union Budget Together

District BJP headquarters in Rajnandgaon witnesses high enthusiasm during live telecast of Union Budget 2026–27

As Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Union Budget for the financial year 2026–27 in Parliament, an atmosphere of excitement was witnessed across the country. In Rajnandgaon, similar enthusiasm was seen at the Bharatiya Janata Party’s district office on G.E. Road, where leaders and workers assembled to watch the live telecast of the budget.

Senior party leaders, office bearers and grassroots workers collectively followed the proceedings with keen attention. The ambience at the office resembled that of an election day, with continuous discussions and reactions emerging around key budget announcements.

Prominent leaders present on the occasion included BJP National Council Member Khoobchand Parakh, Chhattisgarh Tourism Corporation Chairman Neelu Sharma, Labour Welfare Board Chairman Yogeshdutt Mishra, BJP leader Ashok Chaudhary, District BJP President Komal Singh Rajput, Media In-charge Amar Lalwani, District Central Cooperative Bank Chairman Sachin Singh Baghel, along with Pradeep Acharya, Kisun Yadu, Akash Chopra and several other party functionaries and workers.

The programme was led by District BJP President Komal Singh Rajput and senior leader Pradeep Acharya. Leaders carefully listened to the budget proposals and exchanged views on various aspects. Media personnel were also present throughout, interacting with leaders and capturing their initial reactions.

BJP leaders stated that the budget has been framed keeping development, Atmanirbhar Bharat and public welfare at its core. Party workers expressed positive energy and optimism, terming the budget people-centric and growth-oriented.

Overall, the district BJP office witnessed a vibrant and celebratory environment, reflecting strong organisational interest and active participation around the Union Budget.
