MLA Representative chairs BJP Rural Mandal meeting; discusses ongoing and upcoming development works

A meeting of the BJP Rural Mandal was held on Friday under the chairmanship of MLA Representative Santosh Agrawal. The meeting, organized at the Assembly Speaker’s office, was attended by public representatives from rural areas and party office-bearers.


Discussion on Rural Development Works

During the meeting, Santosh Agrawal held detailed discussions with mandal members regarding development works being carried out in rural regions. He informed participants that Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh has approved large-scale development projects keeping in mind the needs and concerns of rural areas within his constituency.

He stated that these approved projects would significantly accelerate the pace of ongoing development works in villages.


Local Issues Raised by Representatives

Office-bearers of the rural mandal apprised the MLA Representative of various issues and demands related to their respective areas. Agrawal assured them of prompt solutions to the concerns raised.

Key demands presented during the meeting included construction of Atal Samrasta Bhawans, water tanks, Muktidham facilities, Gaurav Path roads, new Panchayat buildings and construction of buildings for fair price shops.


Focus on Drinking Water and Infrastructure Expansion

Responding to the demands, Agrawal said that complaints related to drinking water supply are being resolved on priority. He informed that foundation stone ceremonies for new Panchayat buildings have already been completed in several villages, while construction work at other locations will begin soon.

Call for Commitment to Timely Completion

Addressing the gathering, Agrawal emphasized the need for commitment from public representatives and party functionaries to ensure timely completion of development projects. He urged members to immediately inform authorities if any construction work faces delays so that issues can be resolved and development activities can proceed at a faster pace.

The meeting was attended by BJP District Vice President Rohit Chandrakar, District Panchayat Members Dev Kumari Sahu, Leeladhar Sahu and Krishna Tiwari, Rural Mandal President Manoj Sahu, Khileshwar Sahu, Mandal General Secretaries, Shakti Kendra in-charges and other public representatives.
