CSR Support to Strengthen Public Healthcare

Rajnandgaon: IDBI Bank, under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, has provided advanced medical equipment worth approximately ₹8.96 lakh to Government Medical College, Pendri, Rajnandgaon. The initiative is being seen as a significant step toward enhancing healthcare facilities at the medical college and ensuring better treatment services for the general public.

Dignitaries Flag Off Equipment Vehicles

The programme was attended by Raman Singh, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Mayor Madhusudan Yadav and Collector Jitendra Yadav (Indian Administrative Service).

Dr. Raman Singh, Mayor Madhusudan Yadav and Collector Jitendra Yadav flagged off two vehicles loaded with medical equipment and materials for dispatch to the medical college.

List of Advanced Medical Equipment Provided

The equipment provided includes blood donor couches, portable blood donor chairs, a 120-litre RO water cooler, 25-litre RO domestic and commercial systems, wheelchairs, stretchers, trash cart trolleys, a portable ECG machine, emergency patient trolley, hospital queue management system, laboratory centrifuge machine, semi-automatic biochemistry analyzer, coagulometer and hot air oven, among other modern devices.

These additions are expected to significantly improve diagnostic capabilities, patient management and emergency response services at the medical college.

Representing IDBI Bank were Branch Manager Mayank Kumar Mittal, Jasmeet Singh Bhatia (Assistant General Manager – Liability Department, Bhilai Branch), Anup Singh Vishwakarma (Deputy General Manager), K. Avinash (Manager), Manish Kumar Kharkhate (Service Operations Manager) and Lead Bank Manager Monish Sharma.

Bank officials stated that the objective of this support is to enhance healthcare facilities at the medical college and further strengthen medical services for patients.
