Responding to the urgent needs of flood-affected communities in Bastar, the Indian Red Cross Society Rajnandgaon, under the leadership of Collector and Society President Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure, has dispatched 500 mosquito nets as relief aid.
The support initiative was made possible through the joint efforts of the Rajnandgaon chapter of the Red Cross Society and the Udayachal Social Service Organization, which came forward to contribute towards the humanitarian cause.
The aid consignment was formally sent to the Indian Red Cross Society, Bastar, to be distributed among families living in temporary shelters and flood-affected areas where the risk of mosquito-borne diseases has sharply increased.
