Shiv Temple, Mukti Dham, river steps and immersion pond cleaned ahead of Ganesh immersion

A comprehensive cleanliness drive was conducted in the Mohara River area on Wednesday under the ‘Seva Mera Yogdan’ programme being organised as part of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan.
During the campaign, cleanliness work was carried out around the Shiv Temple and Mukti Dham. The steps leading to the Mohara River were also cleaned as part of the initiative.
Immersion Pond Cleaned Ahead of Ganesh Visarjan
Keeping Ganesh immersion in view, the immersion pond located in the area was given special attention and cleaned.
The initiative was undertaken to ensure that devotees do not face inconvenience and that a clean and organised environment is available during the immersion process.
Public Representatives and Workers Participate
The campaign saw participation from Seva Sankalp Abhiyan district in-charge and Mayor Madhusudan Yadav, BJP district president Komal Singh Rajput, Sachin Baghel, programme coordinator Ramesh Patel, Municipal Commissioner Mr. Markam, Sawan Verma, Paras Verma, Shiv Verma, cleanliness campaign coordinators Raghuveer Wadhwa and Hakim Khan, along with a large number of public representatives, BJP workers and local residents.
Speaking on the occasion, Ramesh Patel, coordinator of ‘Seva Mera Yogdan’, said that the initiative was not merely a programme but a commitment to fulfilling one’s responsibility towards society and the city.
He said that a clean and beautiful city can be created when people from all sections of society come forward collectively for cleanliness.
Message of Cleanliness Through Shramdaan
During the campaign, participants contributed through shramdaan and conveyed the message of cleanliness.
People were also urged to keep public places, rivers, ponds and religious sites clean and remain aware of their responsibility towards cleanliness.
Those present during the programme included Ravi Sinha, Rajesh Yadav, Satish Sahu, Sunil Sahu, Pankaj Kujrekar, Pramod Jhanjhar, Vijay Rai, Surendra Sahu, Shekhar Yadav, Manohar Yadav, Sanju Baghel, Dileshwar Sahu, Alok Shroti, Sevak Ram Uike and Laxmikant Shrivas, along with a large number of workers.
Minority Morcha district president Harry Joseph and North Mandal president Afsar Khan also participated in the cleanliness campaign.
