CEO of District Panchayat Conducts Surprise Inspection of Development Works in Rajnandgaon Villages

Stresses Timely Completion of Housing Projects, Cleanliness, and Infrastructure Development

Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat, Ms. Suruchi Singh, carried out a surprise inspection of ongoing development works in the gram panchayats of Sundara, Achaanakpur Bhathapara, and Somni under Rajnandgaon block. During the visit, she directed officials to immediately commence pending housing projects and ensure the completion of all under-construction houses by September 30.

At Somni, she instructed officials of the Rural Engineering Services to expedite the construction of the Mahatari Sadan and issued orders to the village secretary after spotting unhygienic conditions near the site. She also advised villagers to maintain cleanliness and warned beneficiaries of housing schemes that failure to start work within a week could result in recovery of allocated funds.

In Sundara, beneficiaries with incomplete slab work were asked to finish housing construction by the deadline, while timely completion of the Mini Stadium project was also emphasized. Similarly, at Achaanakpur Bhathapara, the Atal Digital Seva Kendra was inspected and orders were given to complete housing units by the end of the month.

The inspection was attended by Deputy Director of Panchayat, Mr. Devendra Kaushik, CEO of Janpad Panchayat Rajnandgaon, Mr. Manish Sahu, along with officers and staff from the district and block-level panchayat departments.
