The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) staged a strong protest in Rajnandgaon on Monday, burning an effigy of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over his alleged objectionable remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the Congress’s Voter Rights Yatra in Darbhanga, Bihar.
The protest, held at Mahavir Chowk, was organized on the directives of the BJP state and district units. District BJP President Komal Singh Rajput and BJYM District President Monu Bahadur Singh led the demonstration, joined by a large number of party workers.
BJYM leaders condemned Rahul Gandhi’s comments, accusing the Congress of repeatedly insulting the Prime Minister. They asserted that such politics goes against democratic traditions and would not be tolerated by the people of India.

Amid slogans against the Congress, the leaders declared that their agitation was a warning to those who attempt to malign the dignity of the Prime Minister.
The protest witnessed the participation of senior BJP leaders, office bearers, and over 100 youth activists, including MD Thakur, Shiv Verma, Sumit Bhatia, Golu Gupta, Raghubir Wadhwa, Tarun Lehrwani, Trigun Tank, Ashokaditya Srivastava, Harsh Ramteke, Balwant Saw, Vinod Bharti, and many others.
The event concluded with a strong resolve from the BJP’s youth wing to continue its campaign against what they termed as “Congress’s politics of insult and disrespect.”
