Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh to Visit Rajnandgaon on July 11–12; Tree Plantation, Foundation Stone Laying and Public Events Scheduled

Chhattisgarh Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh will be on a two-day visit to Rajnandgaon district on July 11 and 12, 2026, during which he will participate in several public, developmental and social programmes, including a tree plantation drive, talent felicitation ceremony, foundation stone laying event and a community oath-taking function.

July 11 Schedule

Dr. Raman Singh will leave the Speaker House, Shankar Nagar, Raipur, by road at 10:30 AM and is scheduled to reach the Speaker House, Rajnandgaon, at 12:00 PM.

At 12:15 PM, he will depart for Batgaon village in Rajnandgaon development block, where he will participate in a tree plantation and free sapling distribution programme.

After the event, he will return to the Speaker House in Rajnandgaon by 2:45 PM, where time has been reserved for official engagements.

In the evening, at 5:25 PM, Dr. Singh will attend the Pratibha Samman Samaroh 2026 (Talent Felicitation Ceremony) at the Padma Shri Govindram Nirmalkar Auditorium. He will return to the Speaker House by 6:35 PM.

July 12 Schedule

On July 12, the Assembly Speaker will leave the Speaker House at 11:50 AM for the Mandi premises in Rajnandgaon, where he will attend the foundation stone laying ceremony for development works approved by the Mandi Board at 12:00 PM.

Following the programme, he will return to the Speaker House at 1:10 PM.

Later in the afternoon, at 3:00 PM, Dr. Raman Singh will attend the Chhattisgarh Shri Vaishnav Mahasabha Oath-Taking Ceremony at the Padma Shri Govindram Nirmalkar Auditorium.

After concluding the event, he will return to the Speaker House and later depart for Raipur at 4:30 PM, marking the end of his two-day visit.
