JCB Used to Dig Up Unauthorised Route at Multiple Points, Blocking Vehicular Movement

Acting on the directions of Collector Jitendra Yadav, the Revenue Department has continued action against illegal encroachments and unauthorised constructions on government land in Rajnandgaon district.
As part of the ongoing drive, the administration took action against an illegally constructed route on government hill land and a drain in Jhuradabari village, located adjacent to the Mangata Forest Chetna Kendra in Rajnandgaon development block.
Illegal Road Dug Up at Multiple Points
In the presence of revenue and administrative officials, a JCB and heavy machinery were deployed to take action against the illegally reconstructed earthen route.
The administration carried out deep excavation at several points along the route, effectively blocking access through it.
Deep trenches were dug at different locations in the middle of the road, preventing vehicles from using the route.

Government Land Recorded as Hill/Rock Category
According to the administration, Khasra No. 672 is recorded as government land under the hill/rock category.
The total area of the land is 13.354 hectares.
In addition, an earthen route had reportedly been constructed again over a government drain located in front of Khasra Nos. 563/1, 563/2 and 563/3.
The administration used a JCB to dig up the unauthorised route at multiple points and block it for movement.
Action Against Unauthorised Construction
The action forms part of the Revenue Department’s continuing measures against illegal occupation of government land and unauthorised construction in the district.
The administration blocked the route by carrying out excavation at several locations, stopping vehicular movement through the unauthorised passage.
