In a bid to ensure smooth paddy procurement during the Kharif Marketing Year 2025–26, the district administration has accelerated acreage correction and technical rectification work on the Integrated Farmer Portal. The initiative aims to address issues faced by farmers during paddy sales under the state’s procurement campaign.

Under the ongoing paddy procurement drive, paddy is being purchased from farmers at a support price of ₹3,100 per quintal, including benefits under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay (Farmer Prosperity) Scheme, with a maximum limit of 21 quintals per acre. However, several farmers encountered technical difficulties on the Integrated Farmer Portal, prompting the administration to expedite corrections and updates.

Various applications related to Khasra details, acreage correction, carry forward, crop details, new registration, heir registration, forest rights patta entries and other data errors were received through the portal. Acting on the directions of Collector Jitendra Yadav, officials of the Revenue Department and patwaris have been resolving these applications on a priority basis. So far, technical issues of approximately 150 farmers have been successfully resolved.

Farmers have expressed satisfaction after their problems were addressed. Amar Kumar Sahu, a farmer from Mangata village, said that due to a technical error, his online token for paddy sale was generated for 14 quintals instead of 26 quintals at the Somni procurement centre. After submitting an application, the issue was corrected, allowing him to sell his paddy on December 9.

Similarly, Jashwant Nirmalkar of Gathula village said an incorrect entry showing an alternative crop on 1.5 acres of his 6.5-acre land had prevented him from selling paddy. Following acreage correction on the portal, he received a token for 129 quintals, enabling him to proceed with the sale scheduled for January 15.

Ramavatar Singh, a farmer from Bhavarmara village, shared that although he owned four acres of land and sold paddy at the Singhola procurement centre, a discrepancy of 51 dismil resulted in the portal reflecting only 68 quintals. After applying for correction, the issue was resolved, and he received two tokens. He successfully sold 60 quintals on December 19 and 18.4 quintals on January 6.

District Food Officer Ravindra Soni stated that based on physical verification conducted by Revenue Department officials and patwaris, provisions for data modification have been enabled through committee logins at all procurement societies. Farmers are being urged to submit applications for Khasra and acreage correction, carry forward, crop entry updates, new registration and other required actions.

He further informed that all types of corrections on the Integrated Farmer Portal will be permitted until January 31, 2026. Carry forward cases, new registration of forest rights patta holders, cancellation and re-registration in cases of erroneous Aadhaar details, and new registrations recommended by the Collector after girdawari and physical verification will be accepted until January 15, 2026. Committee login facilities have been provided across all societies to ensure timely resolution of farmers’ issues.
