Staff Nurse Pushpa Kande Passes Away; Buddhist Community and Public Representatives Bid Final Farewell

Rajnandgaon mourns the loss of a dedicated district hospital nurse; emotional farewell held at Mathpara cremation ground

The city witnessed a wave of grief following the sudden demise of Ayushmati Pushpa Kande, a resident of Green City and a dedicated staff nurse at the District Hospital. She passed away at around 7 PM on November 24 after battling illness for the past few days. Her untimely death has left the Kande family, relatives, acquaintances, and the entire health department in deep sorrow.

Pushpa Kande is survived by her husband, Gautam Kande, and their two young daughters, who are devastated by the irreparable loss.

Her funeral procession commenced at 1 PM on Tuesday, November 25, from her residence in Green City and proceeded to the Mathpara cremation ground, where the last rites were performed. Members of the Buddhist community, representatives of various social organisations, colleagues from the health department, and several public representatives were present to pay their respects.

Prayers were offered to the Mahakarunik Tathagat Samyak Sambuddha for the eternal peace of the departed soul and for strength to the grieving family to endure this painful loss.
