Departments Instructed to Coordinate for Farmer Registration, Speed Up APAR ID Process; Rajyotsav to Be Held on 2–4 November at Municipal School Ground

Collector Jitendra Yadav conducted the weekly time-limit review meeting at the Collectorate today, issuing clear instructions to revenue officials and other departmental heads. He directed that all Patwaris must remain present at their respective headquarters to ensure that public services are not disrupted. To ensure compliance, Sub-Divisional Magistrates and Tehsildars have been instructed to regularly monitor their attendance.
During the meeting, the Collector reviewed preparations for the upcoming Chhattisgarh Rajyotsav, scheduled to be organized from 2 to 4 November 2025 at the Municipal School Ground. He sought detailed updates on arrangements related to stage setup, drinking water, sanitation, lighting, parking, departmental stalls, and cultural programs. Departments were asked to ensure full readiness for the three-day celebration.
The Collector also directed the Food, Agriculture, and Cooperative Departments to work in coordination to resolve issues being faced by farmers in the ongoing registration process. He emphasized the need to ensure smooth facilitation under the Pradhan Mantri Suryaghar Muft Bijli Yojana, encouraging widespread public benefit.
In reviewing the APAR ID creation process for school-going children, the Collector noted that out of 1,83,270 children, 1,47,097 IDs have been generated, and the remaining 36,073 require Aadhaar updates. He instructed CHiPS and the Education Department to conduct Aadhaar update camps and achieve 100% APAR ID coverage by 15 December 2025.

Additionally, the Collector reviewed progress in land acquisition cases, weekly action under the Food Safety Department, and the ongoing monitoring of confectionery and food shops. He also emphasized the need to accelerate construction works and strengthen malnutrition recovery efforts through Nutrition Rehabilitation Centers.
District Panchayat CEO Suruchi Singh briefed the meeting on cultural program arrangements for Rajyotsav and highlighted the need to encourage farmers to adopt less water-intensive crops. Senior administrative officers including Additional Collectors C.L. Markandey and Prem Prakash Sharma, Municipal Commissioner Atul Vishwakarma, and SDMs of all subdivisions were present.
