The State-Level Yadav Women’s Conference was held with grandeur at Vrindavan Bhavan, Katoratalab Chowk, Raipur, bringing together women leaders from across Chhattisgarh. The event saw the participation of Chief Guest Mrs. Kaushalya Devi Sai, wife of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, while Mrs. Karuna Madhusudan Yadav from Rajnandgaon presided over the program.

Prominent attendees included Mrs. Manju Rakesh Yadav (Balod), Mrs. Jagruti Chunni Yadu (Rajnandgaon), Mrs. Sulochana Yadav, Mrs. Savita Yadav, Mrs. Pratima Sarju Yadav, Mrs. Lalita Ram Yadav, Mrs. Vimla Rajesh Yadav, Mrs. Reema Ramesh Yadav, Mrs. Bhuvaneshwari Yadav, and Mrs. Saroj Yadav.
Representing Rajnandgaon, Mrs. Karuna Madhusudan Yadav, Mrs. Jagruti Chunni Yadu, District Panchayat Chairperson Khemin Rajesh Yadav, and Mathaldabri Sarpanch Mrs. Madhu Yadav were present.

The organizing committee also included Mrs. Dhanmati Yadav (Devbhog), Mrs. Kiran Yadav (Masturi), Mrs. Geeta Yadav (Korba), Mrs. Geeta Yadav (Takhatpur), Mrs. Pushplata Yadav (Pamgarh), and Mrs. Sneha Yadav (Raipur). The conference witnessed felicitation of distinguished guests and the announcement of the new executive team of the State Yadav Women’s Committee.

During her presidential address, Mrs. Karuna Yadav drew the attention of the Chief Minister’s wife toward pressing social issues, urging that they be addressed through government initiatives. She specifically called for:

  • Incorporating self-defense training for school girls as a mandatory subject,
  • Ensuring protection and management of stray cattle along highways, and
  • Launching a strong anti-addiction campaign to curb rising drug and alcohol abuse among children, youth, and the elderly.

She also expressed gratitude to the Chief Guest and other dignitaries for their participation and support for women’s empowerment and community welfare.

In her address, Mrs. Kaushalya Devi Sai praised the Yadav community’s efforts in spreading awareness, promoting dharma, and fostering unity. She congratulated the women organizers for the successful event and assured that the issues raised from the social platform would be conveyed to the Chief Minister for timely resolution.
