Stresses Quality Education, Effective Use of Vinoba App, and Exam Reforms

Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat, Ms. Suruchi Singh, conducted an in-depth review meeting with principals and education department officials at Dr. Baldev Prasad Mishra Government Higher Secondary School, Basantpur. The meeting focused on strengthening academic outcomes, implementing government schemes effectively, and enhancing quality education across schools in the district.
Ms. Singh reviewed fortnightly, quarterly, and last year’s exam results, directing principals and teachers to ensure serious and result-oriented teaching. She emphasized the effective use of the Vinoba App, mandating accurate daily entries of attendance and examination results, while also instructing officials to resolve any technical issues promptly. She further suggested organizing monthly and fortnightly tests to improve student performance.

Highlighting the need for academic excellence, she said schools delivering improved board exam results would be recognized and honored. Reviewing last year’s unsatisfactory board exam results, Ms. Singh proposed remedial teaching, special coaching, and extra classes to boost outcomes. She also assessed the learning outcomes of students from Classes 1 to 8 and instructed schools lagging behind to prepare concrete action plans for improvement.
District Education Officer, Mr. Pravas Singh Baghel, addressed principals, cluster coordinators, and block education officers, urging them to ensure that all children benefit from government schemes and receive quality education equally. He also encouraged schools to actively participate in the “One Tree in Mother’s Name” campaign, motivating students to plant trees and understand their importance.
The meeting was attended by District Literacy Project Officer Mrs. Rashmi Singh, District Mission Coordinator Mr. Satish Byohare, principals, and other education department officials.
