Acting on the directives of District Collector and Magistrate Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure, the Excise Department in Rajnandgaon continues its rigorous campaign against illegal liquor sellers, transporters, bootleggers, and public drinking.

According to Excise Officer-in-Charge Mr. GPS Darde, a total of 16.380 bulk litres of illicit country liquor—including Santri liquor manufactured in Maharashtra—was seized, along with a motorcycle used in the illegal transport.

As part of the operation, Excise Sub-Inspector Rajkumar Kurre and his team intercepted Dallu Nishad on the Banjari to Masool route.
