‘Su-Shasan Tihar’ Grievance Redressal Camp Held at Murmunda Village in Dongargarh Block

District Collector listens to villagers’ grievances, directs officials to resolve issues within stipulated timeframes

In alignment with the Chhattisgarh government’s vision for responsive governance, a large-scale grievance redressal camp was organized under the ‘Su-Shasan Tihar’ initiative at Murmunda village in Dongargarh block. The camp aimed to address the issues of 12 gram panchayats, including Murmunda, Rengakthera, Mundgaon, Dundera, Khalari, Mudpar, Ranka, Kurrubhat, Pipariya, Bhandarpur, Gajmarra, and Jamri.

The event witnessed the participation of District Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure and District Panchayat Vice-President Smt. Kiran Sahu, among several senior officials and public representatives.

During the camp, Collector Bhure interacted directly with the villagers, listened to their problems and demands in detail, and instructed department officials to ensure resolution of the submitted applications within the stipulated timelines as per government norms. He encouraged citizens to visit the departmental stalls set up at the camp to avail benefits of various state welfare schemes.

The Labour Department saw significant participation, with many workers registering for labour cards, which were issued on the spot. Similarly, the Transport Department issued learning licenses to eligible applicants. The Health Department conducted large-scale screenings for blood pressure, diabetes, and other conditions, followed by distribution of necessary medications. The Ayurveda Department distributed preventive medicines for seasonal ailments.

Applications and service deliveries across several departments — including Panchayat and Rural Development, Agriculture, Labour, Women and Child Development, Revenue, Fisheries, Livestock Development, Public Works, CREDA, Public Health Engineering, Water Resources, Education, Cooperative, Ayurveda, and Food Departments — were processed during the camp.

Beneficiaries received a variety of documents and support, including labour cards, ration cards, job cards, Ayushman and Vaya Vandana cards, learning licenses, disability certificates, toilet approvals, loan passbooks, caste certificates, water testing kits, Kisan Credit Cards, and pension approval letters. Materials were distributed under various welfare schemes to ensure tangible benefits for the attendees.

The event was graced by Janpad Panchayat President Smt. Lata Sinha, District Panchayat Member Shri Prashant Kodape, Janpad Vice President Shri Heeraram Verma, and several other local elected representatives including Umesh Sahu, Tameshwar Sahu, Pooja Choudhary, SDM Manoj Markam, and Sarpanch Khemchand Sori. A large number of villagers and district officials also attended the program, reflecting the community’s strong engagement with the governance process.
