A heartwarming scene unfolded in the village of Raveli, where Chhowaram Sahu, a local resident, expressed his sincere gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi after receiving a permanent home under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY).

According to information shared by the BJP Media Cell, the incident came to light during a field visit by District Panchayat member Dev Kumari Sahu. Accompanied by party workers, she was touring the area when she noticed a beautifully constructed house that stood out in the rural landscape. Out of curiosity, she approached the resident to learn more.

Chhowaram Sahu proudly shared that the house was built under the PMAY scheme, a flagship initiative of the central government aimed at providing affordable housing to the economically weaker sections of society. Overwhelmed with emotion, he conveyed his happiness and sense of security in now owning a well-built home.

“I am extremely happy and now live peacefully with my family. I want to thank the Modi government and our state BJP leadership for making this possible,” said Sahu, visibly content with his new living conditions.

The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana has been instrumental in reshaping rural life by replacing unsafe and temporary shelters with durable, well-designed homes. The initiative not only offers improved living standards but also restores dignity to millions of families across India.

District Panchayat member Dev Kumari Sahu praised the scheme’s effective implementation in the region and reaffirmed the BJP government’s commitment to welfare-driven governance. “Seeing the smiles on the faces of people like Chhowaram Sahu is the true reward of public service. Our mission to ensure housing for all continues with even greater dedication,” she stated.

This incident underscores the tangible impact of government schemes on grassroots communities and showcases the ongoing efforts to bridge the urban-rural infrastructure gap.
