Sindhi Panchayat Honours 203 Meritorious Students in Rajnandgaon

Sant Yudhishthir Lal Highlights the Importance of Education, Values and Family in Students’ Success

The Pujya Sindhi Panchayat, Hemu Colony, organised a Teacher Felicitation and Meritorious Students’ Honour Ceremony in memory of late Suresh Dulani.

As part of the programme, 203 meritorious students who secured 90 per cent or more marks from Classes 1 to 12 were felicitated for their academic achievements. Students who had achieved special distinction in fields including medicine, chartered accountancy and engineering were also presented with mementoes and awards.

Sant Yudhishthir Lal Emphasises Family Values

The chief guest, Shiromani Sant Yudhishthir Lal Ji of Shadani Darbar, said that family values and the contribution of parents play an important role in a child’s success.

He called upon students to complement their education with values, discipline, character and a spirit of service. He encouraged them to make these qualities an integral part of their lives while pursuing their academic and professional goals.

Students Urged to Set Ambitious Goals

Sushma Jethani, president of the Chhattisgarh Sindhi Academy, encouraged students to set ambitious goals and work consistently towards achieving them. She particularly motivated them to pursue administrative services, including careers as IPS officers.

Senior Panchayat adviser Arjundas Panjwani described the honoured students as a source of pride for both society and the nation. He urged them to use their talent in the service of society and in nation-building.

Panchayat president Mannumal Motlani described the felicitation of meritorious students as a meaningful initiative by the community to encourage and support talented young people.

Community Leaders Attend Ceremony

The programme was attended by Sant Udaylal Shadani, along with office-bearers of the Panchayat, executive members and prominent members of the community.

The programme was conducted by Amar Lalwani, Prof. Ashanand Makhija, Girdhari Panjwani, Arjun Gangwani and Nitin Batra. Panchayat general secretary Harish Motlani proposed the vote of thanks.

The ceremony highlighted the community’s emphasis on academic excellence while encouraging students to combine education with values, discipline, service and a commitment to contributing to society and the nation.
