Guru Mahima, Bhajans and Hanuman Chalisa Recitation to Be Held Over Two Days

The Barfani Seva Ashram Committee, dedicated to world peace and the welfare of humanity, will organize a two-day Guru Purnima Festival at Barfani Dham from July 28, 2026.
The festival is being organized with the blessings and inspiration of renowned spiritual leader Shri Shri 1011 Yogadhiraj Brahmarshi Barfani Dada Ji. A large number of members of the Guru Parivar and devotees from across the region and other parts of the country are expected to attend the celebrations.
According to institution secretary Ganesh Prasad Sharma (Gannu), the famous Maa Patal Bhairavi Raj Rajeshwari Tripur Sundari Dash Mahavidya Dwadash Jyotirlinga Shiv Shakti Siddhapeeth was established under the guidance and blessings of Barfani Dada Ji.
The temple complex houses Maa Patal Bhairavi, Maa Raj Rajeshwari Tripur Sundari, the Dash Mahavidyas, Adidev Mahadev and the Dwadash Jyotirlingas. The ashram also houses one of the region’s largest crystal and mercury Shiva Lingams.
Musical Sunderkand and Hanuman Chalisa on July 28
As part of the Guru Purnima celebrations and Charan Puja of the revered Guru, a musical Sunderkand recital, Hanuman Chalisa recitation and bhajan programme will be organized on July 28 from 4 pm.
Women’s groups from Durg will present the musical programme and devotional bhajans.

Guru Purnima Celebrations on July 29
On July 29, the occasion of Ashadh Shukla Paksha Guru Purnima, the programme will begin at 8 am with the palanquin procession of Shri Barfani Dada Ji through the ashram premises.
Following the procession, members of the Guru Parivar and devotees will perform the ceremonial abhishek of Shri Barfani Dada Ji with Panchamrit, Gangajal, milk and pure water. The rituals will be followed by shringar, worship and Maha Aarti.
From 10 am onwards, devotees will participate in musical bhajans, Hanuman Chalisa recitation and the singing of the glory of the Guru.
The committee has assigned responsibilities to its members for the smooth conduct of the two-day festival.
President Rajesh Maru, Vice-President Deepak Joshi, Secretary Ganesh Prasad Sharma (Gannu), Treasurer Neelam Jain, Mahant Govind Das, Mahendra Lunia, Alok Joshi, Suraj Joshi, Kulbir Chhabra, Alok Bindal, Yogendra Pandey, Kamlesh Simankar, Santosh Khandelwal, Damodar Agrawal, Leeladhar Singh, Balwinder Singh Bhatia, Manish Parmar, Sanjay Khandelwal and other members are contributing to the preparations.
