Collector Reviews Preparations for Digital Crop Survey in Rajnandgaon

Digital Crop Survey Campaign to Run from August 17 to September 30; Officials Directed to Ensure Error-Free Data Collection

Collector Jitendra Yadav reviewed preparations for the Digital Crop Survey (DCS) during a meeting held at the District Panchayat conference hall. He issued detailed instructions regarding training and the action plan required for the successful implementation of the survey.

The Collector informed officials that the Digital Crop Survey will be conducted across the district from August 17 to September 30, 2026. He directed officials to ensure that the entire process is carried out transparently, within the stipulated timeline and without errors so that accurate and authentic digital records of farmers’ crop details can be prepared.

Officials Directed to Verify Every Field and Crop

Collector Yadav instructed officials to carefully verify information related to every field and crop during the survey. He stressed that there should be no errors or negligence in the process.

He said the Digital Crop Survey will serve as an important foundation for the effective implementation of various government schemes related to farmers. Therefore, special attention must be paid to the quality and accuracy of the data collected.

The Collector also directed officials to accelerate farmer registration and other related activities under AgriStack. He called for greater awareness among farmers about the benefits of the initiative and urged officials to connect more farmers with the system.

Focus on PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana

Collector Yadav also instructed officials to intensify publicity and awareness activities for the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana.

He said eligible beneficiaries should be informed about the benefits of the scheme and maximum registration should be ensured to promote clean and green energy in the district.

The Collector directed all revenue officials and field-level staff to work in coordination for the effective and time-bound implementation of the Digital Crop Survey, AgriStack and PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana.

Additional Collectors C.L. Markandey and Prem Prakash Sharma, along with all Sub-Divisional Magistrates (Revenue), Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars, Revenue Inspectors and Patwaris of the district, attended the meeting.
