Pregnant women and mothers of infants were regularly counselled and made aware of balanced diets, breastfeeding and childcare practices.

Under the Potth Laika campaign, growth monitoring of children, regular follow-up visits and necessary guidance were ensured through door-to-door outreach.

The Women and Child Development Department ensured the regular distribution of take-home rations through Anganwadi centres and provided nutrition education.

The Health Department conducted regular health check-ups, vaccination and necessary treatment for children.

Members of NRLM self-help groups, known as Samuh Didis, also made a significant contribution by preparing ready-to-eat nutritional food, promoting nutrition awareness and strengthening community participation.
