Police Felicitate Citizens for Cooperation in Ensuring Peaceful Holi Celebrations

Under the leadership of SP Ankita Sharma, district witnesses incident-free festivities; public representatives and social organizations honoured for their support

The Rajnandgaon district police honoured citizens and community representatives for their cooperation in ensuring that the Holi festival concluded peacefully and harmoniously across the district.

Under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Ankita Sharma, extensive security arrangements had been made throughout the district to maintain law and order during the festival. As a result, no major untoward incident was reported during the celebrations.

Following the festival, special programmes were organized at various police station premises across the district. During these events, public representatives, office bearers of social organizations, intellectuals and representatives of various community groups were invited and felicitated for their contribution in maintaining peace and harmony during the festival.

Police officials expressed gratitude to citizens for their active cooperation and emphasized that strong communication and mutual trust between the police and the public are crucial for maintaining an effective law and order system.

Officials noted that when citizens interact with the police without hesitation and share information freely, it strengthens the intelligence network and also helps in effective crime prevention and control.

Under the leadership of SP Ankita Sharma, the district police have been making continuous efforts to strengthen police-public relations. As part of this initiative, representatives of political parties, social organizations, public leaders and ordinary citizens are being encouraged to participate in collaborative efforts to maintain peace and harmony in society.

Positive reports of strong coordination between the police and the public have also emerged from several police station areas including Dongargaon, Dongargarh, Kotwali and Basantpur, among others.

The police administration expressed hope that the same level of cooperation from citizens will continue in the future, further strengthening peace, communal harmony and law and order in the district.
