Assembly Speaker Approves Aid for Needy Residents; Cheques Distributed at Speaker House by Representative

Raman Singh, Speaker of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly and local MLA, approved financial assistance amounting to ₹6.50 lakh for 25 needy beneficiaries from his विधानसभा constituency. The assistance cheques were distributed at the Speaker House in Rajnandgaon by his representative Santosh Agrawal.
Among the major beneficiaries, Prabha Bai Sahu from Tedesara village received ₹1 lakh, while Lakshmi Mandavi and Punita Chandravanshi from Bhandarpur were given ₹50,000 each. Kanti Bai Meshram from Ward No. 10, Rajnandgaon block, received ₹40,000. Geeta Santosh Yadav from Mathpara and Prema Sonkar from Station Para were also granted ₹50,000 each.
Other beneficiaries included Lakshmi Sonkar (Ward No. 48, Nandai) and Vidya Chandrakar (Bharregaon), who received ₹25,000 each. Girja Bai Devangan (Bori), Praveen Giri Goswami (Station Para), and Ashirwad Navyuvak Mandal were provided ₹20,000 each.

Financial support of ₹10,000 each was extended to Maa Jagdamba Self-Help Group, Kachra Bai Gedam (Ward No. 18, Tulsipur), Ashok Kumar Soni (Ward No. 19, Mamta Nagar), and Dhaneshwari Chaubey (Indawani village). Ram Pyari Sahu (Ward No. 34, Lakholli) received ₹15,000, while Pratima Vasanik (Ward No. 27, Bharkapara) was given ₹10,000.
Further assistance included ₹15,000 each to Durgesh Kumar Sahu (Pendri), Dhan Kunwar Bai, and Bimla Borikar (Nachaniya), ₹10,000 each to Dhanlakshmi Singh (Paneka), Hirendra Kumar Sahu (Pendri), Kesari Bai, and Ritesh Kumar Verma, along with ₹7,000 to Vishakha Bai Yadav and ₹5,000 to Yogita Bai.
All beneficiaries expressed gratitude to Dr. Raman Singh for the financial support, stating that the assistance would help them meet urgent personal and social needs.
