Students and Competitive Exam Aspirants Welcome Public Relations Department’s Initiative

The Public Relations Department of Chhattisgarh has carried out the free distribution of the Chhattisgarh Janman magazine and the ‘G Ram Ji’ brochure at the Digital Library, Rajnandgaon, and at Government Kamla Devi Rathi Women’s College, Rajnandgaon. The initiative was warmly received by students, teachers, and youth preparing for competitive examinations.

Expressing satisfaction over the free availability of the publication, Dr. Omkar Lal Shrivastava, Principal of Government Kamla Devi Rathi Women’s College, said that Janman is a well-curated compilation of government schemes and policies, making it highly useful for students, youth, and the general public. Faculty members Dr. Jai Singh Sahu and Dr. Krishna Kumar Dwivedi also appreciated the quality and informative content of the magazine and brochure.
Students preparing for competitive examinations shared positive feedback after reading the magazine. Mukendra Kumar, an aspirant for Sub-Inspector and Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CG Vyapam) examinations, said he regularly studies at the digital library. He described Janman as extremely beneficial for exam preparation, as it includes authentic and updated information on current affairs, government welfare schemes, culture, tourism, and policy decisions taken by the state government.

Another student, Saurabh Samrat, who was studying at the digital library, highlighted that the magazine covers important topics such as the New Education Policy, mineral resources, industrial policy, and the vision of a Developed Chhattisgarh. He said the publication is especially valuable from a competitive examination perspective due to its structured and reliable content.
Students of Government Kamla Devi Rathi Women’s College also expressed happiness after reading the magazine. Notably, Chhattisgarh Janman includes detailed information on the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, under which around 70 lakh women receive ₹1,000 per month to promote economic empowerment, nutrition, and self-reliance.

The magazine further provides comprehensive insights into Chhattisgarh’s culture, tourism, sports, industrial development, digital governance, cottage industries, mineral wealth, religious sites, and various welfare schemes of the state government. Meanwhile, the ‘G Ram Ji’ brochure informs readers about the new 125-day employment guarantee, highlighting the government’s commitment to livelihood security.
