In a landmark move that has sent a strong signal across Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today personally filled and submitted the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) form at his official residence, becoming the first citizen of the state to complete the process under the ongoing mega drive.

The SIR campaign, launched to rectify errors in land records, remove discrepancies, and ensure every landowner’s name is correctly entered in revenue documents, entered its crucial phase today. By filling the form himself, CM Yogi has set a powerful example for government officials, public representatives, and common citizens.

“Every inch of land in Uttar Pradesh belongs to its rightful owner. No poor person, farmer, or common citizen should face harassment because of wrong entries in revenue records. I have filled my SIR form today so that the message is clear: this campaign is for transparency, accuracy, and justice,” the Chief Minister said immediately after submitting the form.

The Special Intensive Revision drive, which kicked off last week, aims to correct decades-old mistakes in jamabandi (record of rights), khasra, and khatauni documents across all 75 districts. Under the campaign, landowners can now get errors rectified free of cost till December 31, 2025, without needing to visit tehsil offices repeatedly.

Senior officials present on the occasion revealed that the Chief Minister instructed all ministers, MLAs, MPs, and government officers to complete their SIR forms within the next three days. “If the Chief Minister can spare time for this public welfare work, no officer or public representative has any excuse left,” an official quoted CM Yogi as saying.

With this personal initiative, the Yogi government has intensified its mission to make Uttar Pradesh completely free from land record disputes by early 2026, delivering what it calls “permanent relief to millions of farmers and landowners from mafia raj and paperwork harassment of the past.”
